Business Support Officer
Business Support Officer
Hours of work: Monday - Friday, specific hours to be negotiated
Location: Frays Academy Trust Central Office, Cowley, Uxbridge
Contract type: Fixed term until 31 July 2025 (with possibility of extension)
Salary information: Scale 5, £19,373 - £20,237 per annum (dependent upon experience)
Work pattern: 25 hours per week, Term time + 5 days during the summer holiday period + 5 training days (40 weeks)

About Us:
Are you passionate about providing high quality business support? We are a flexible, supportive and dedicated team at Frays Academy Trust Central Office, looking for a Business Support Officer to join us. As a team we are committed to providing the best possible support to our seven primary schools and to each other.
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide business support to the central team including general administration, office management, office systems and 365.
- To provide policy support including drafting and reviewing policies as directed and informed by statutory guidance/best practice.
- To provide day to day first line support to schools within the Trust on operational issues arising.
Key Experience Needed:
- Developing and/or improving systems and processes.
- Experience of updating policies and procedures.
- Highly competent in developing documents using Microsoft 365 packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams etc.)
- Experience of working to deadlines, managing own time and organising own work routines accordingly.
- Experience in managing a busy office environment.

Governance Professional - Wokingham

Contract type: Permanent
Salary information: Scale 4, £8,223 - £8,583 per annum (dependent upon experience)
Work pattern: 12 hours per week (flexible working hours are supported), Term time only (38 weeks)

Keep Hatch Primary, All Saints CE Primary and Beechwood Primary are a part of Frays Academy Trust. The three schools work with the other schools in the Trust and are committed to ensuring that all children flourish and reach their potential.
This is a key role providing administrative and procedural support to one, two or all three of the Frays Academy Trust Schools in Wokingham. Experience of reporting to the Chair of a Committee in a similar role and/or an educational background is desirable, although training will be provided. The successful candidate will produce and distribute the agenda for meetings, ensure supporting documents are made available and take minutes. There are approximately 10 meetings per year, per school, which are normally held in the evenings.
If you are well-organised and have excellent interpersonal skills this is the ideal role for you.
